Ms Margaret Bateman
Ms Bateman was called to the Bar in 1994. Ms Bateman practises in contractual disputes, criminal law, including defence of Customs Act and Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act prosecutions and Occupational Health and Safety Act prosecutions and penalties and costs in criminal matters, equity, including constructive trust arguments, family law, migration work, Property (Relationships) Act matters, Security Industry Act work and taxation matters and procedural matters, including abuse of process and want of prosecution arguments. Ms Bateman holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Laws specialising in International Law.
